TINSLEY WANTS THE SLIPPERS

Tinsley came into rescue six years ago.   He was a 2 year old Peke who had been chained outside his entire life-- no matter what the weather.   And Roanoke, Virginia can be very cold.
We brought him into rescue and Susan fostered him.   He wasn't sure about people-- he had good reason to be distrusting.
He became very attached to his foster mom and ended up staying with her.
He loved the snow-- in spite of his past experiences.  He learned joy and friends and trust and love.
His mom got new slippers for Christmas.  (Ray, his Morkie brother, looks like he wants to help.)
Tinsley thought they were a new toy!
And if they were on her feet, they moved!  Even better!
I think your mom really wants to keep her slippers.  I know you're not at a loss for toys.
So, he gives up, finds a spot in the sun, and takes a nap.  Oh, the life he has now!

Great wake-up story. I'm addicted to Black Pekes and in fact all colors of Pekes and this little guy reminds me of my now passed Black Peke Patches and Cupcake who used to go bonkers every time I put on my big fuzzy teddy bear slippers. They would follow me anywhere and everywhere when I had those slippers on and when I sat down they would work at stealing those slippers.
