Lotus Blossom and the Picnic

I was able to meet some of the adopters of my foster dogs at the picnic-- here's Ollie's dad, Don. He was meeting Lotus Blossom to see if she would like to come be in their family. Notice Lotus' pink bandana that all the available foster dogs were wearing. CUTE!
Hannah, Lotus' foster mom's niece, was having a talk with Don.
It looks very serious-- she is interviewing him I think. She wants to make sure he knows how serious it is to become a new dad to Lotus! Don is listening very hard to what she is saying.

Now Hannah is discussing the idea with Ollie. Does HE want a new sister? She wants to make sure this is the perfect home for Lotus Blossom.
I think Lotus Blossom is okay with it. Her new name will be Buffy and she'll be able to go to her new home soon. She was spayed after the picnic, so she needs to recover awhile. Then, she'll be ready!
Lotus Blossom/Buffy came out of a shelter far away. Occasionally we accept a dog from out of our area-- and we're sure glad we did! She's a wonderful Peke. Her new family is really going to love her!
