Maxine came into rescue last fall with her brothers Melrose and Micky. They came in neglected, unsure and timid-- but not any more!
Maxine learned about beds and toys.
She learned that people would love her and that she could feel safe.
Maxine was adopted and she met her first fish. She was not impressed! She even went to the groomer after that terrible fish touched her :-).
Her new mom said she is an angel and even though she still has a few insecurity issues, she is getting better all the time. She is dearly loved by her parents and her doggy brother. We are so happy for this sweet girl!

I am so happy for Maxine but ........ did that fish fall out of the sky???? LOL
