Max came into rescue four years ago this month. He and his sister Maggie were dumped in a field in the next town from me. "Someone" called to let the shelter know where the dogs were-- I was able to get both from the shelter and bring them to my house. Maggie was adopted, but Max never was.
He is getting gray now-- just like the rest of us. He is very watchful of all Beach Bit is doing. "Don't put my toys in that mailbox!"
He hangs out with Scooter and his other Peke buddies. He is a great dog. I still don't know why he was never adopted-- but he is happy here. :-)
Today is his tenth birthday!! Happy Birthday, Max-- we love you!
