LEGEND

Legend came to us from a shelter in Maryland. He had been there before, and his owner came to get him. This time, she did not come. And he waited for three weeks for her to come. That was long enough.
Mike and Tiffany picked him up in Maryland and brought him to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. They are going to foster him. They also picked up Coco Bean-- you'll see her tomorrow.
Here she is!
Legend is doing well. He gets along with the other dogs fine. He's got a lot of energy, runs up and down the stairs, and always jumps off the last step. He plays with Tiffany's two bigger dogs and chases them around the yard. I'd love to see a video of that!
The vet said he is healthy but just a little skinny. He's 12 lbs right now so he needs some weight on him. I'm sure that will be easy! We think Legend is about 4-5 years old. He had his teeth cleaned (nice, almost no tartar, so that shows he's young) and he's neutered and ready to go! He's a beautiful boy who deserves a home! He looks like he is looking for that new family in this picture!

Oh Linda - he is a lovely boy!
Would you send him off to Oprah and she can drop him off in Melbourne for I believe she is visiting my town too in a few days time !

Gosh - I do hope Oprah will give him to me for I really think you could easily fall in love with that guy and keep him for yourself :) !!!!

Legend is absolutely beautiful! What a sad thing for him to go through ~ how can people be so inconsiderate of their dog's feelings before making desperate decisions?

He is so cute!!! I do wonder why people do the things that they do..but then I also know that now Legend will have a safe, good, loving home and won't be put in this situation ever again.
