Maxine came to us in July with Melrose and Mickey. They were all very timid, and we don't really know what happened to them. But, there had to be some trauma.
Maxine went to a foster home in Maryland-- Melrose is in Virginia and Mickey has been adopted.
Maxine loves her foster mom's niece.
I think it's a mutual admiration pair. Oh, look at those sweet faces.
Maxine did not know what to do with beds or toys when she came to rescue, but she has discovered how wonderful beds are-- so comfy and safe!
Maxine is ready for a forever home-- she is 3 years old and so sweet. What a love!!

Oh I don't even want to think what happened to Maxine but she is coming out of her shell and I hope she will find a loving home soon!
