FAREWELL ALLIE

Allie came into rescue in July of 2014.

She was about a year old when she came into rescue.   She had been found in NC when a couple thought she was their lost Peke, but she wasn't so she came into rescue. 

She was adopted into a wonderful family and they loved her immensely. 

She celebrated the holidays and had so much personality.  She wasn't always crazy about other dogs, but some are like that.

She put up with being dressed like a reindeer. :-)

Her sister adored her. 

She had adventures and always seemed to be smiling.   That is, unless there was a storm.  She didn't like those.   Her mom said she was the best little companion.

As young as she was, she fought cancer.   She made many trips to Virginia Tech for help, and she rallied, but then it came back.   She passed away two weeks ago at only about 6 years old. 

Her mom said she was so special and very much loved for all 1,372 days that they had with her.   She had a short life, but a loved one.  Run free now, sweet girl.
