TULIP AND PERCY CHRISTMAS

Percy (Nicholas of the πŸŽ„rescue) has found his spot under the tree.
Tulip (Tinsel of the πŸŽ„rescue)  at the beginning of her rescue.  She was underweight like the rest. She needed medical help.
I used a lot of Christmas sweaters when they all came in.
Tulip looked so cute.
This is her first real Christmas. She is curled up next to the tree. A big change from before she came to us.
They both joined Penny from the Bristol 18 rescue  of 2010.  Penny is over 17 now.  She is still the boss. She barks, Tulip and Percy listen.  Penny is fine being carried. She gets around well but she likes the extra care.
They are all safe this year.  They supervised decorating.
Tulip approved of the snowman.
I bet Percy helped set this up. Peke paws at work

After all that work decorating, it’s time for a snooze. Were sugar plums dancing in his head?  Sweet dreams are there for sure.  This will be a sweet Christmas for them. πŸŽ„

PAULEE CELEBRATES

Paulee celebrated his birthday several days ago. I love his toy!  His mom calls him a spicy Peke. πŸ˜‚.
Paulee is looking forward to Christmas. While he waits for Santa, he is playing w his birthday gifts and he won’t share. He had doggie ice cream and he wouldn’t share that either!
Paulee is w his brother Wallace.  Paulee is spicy and Wallace is “naughty.”   They must be an interesting pair!  πŸ˜‚. Have a Merry Christmas you two! πŸŽ„πŸŽ„

LUDO, TOBY AND CHRISTMAS

Ludo (Fizziwig) and Toby (Gabriel) were part of the Christmas rescue.  Ludo came in January but Toby came December 23 in the first group.

Ludo (Fizziwig) is all set for the holidays.

When he came into rescue with Winter, Dickens and Mistletoe, he needed so much help.   He is on the right standing.
Toby was in rough shape— (Dickens was the worst.) even as malnourished as they were, they still wanted attention.  It was amazing how sweet they were.

Toby/Gabriel was in the vet a while w the others, receiving care and giving me time to find foster homes.
He had a small non visual eye. But that face made one person fall in love.  His future mom.
He was in the first group that traveled to me.  He’s the third from the back.
There he is w Dickens.  I had a lot of cone heads in the house.
Toby and Ludo became friends while at my house. So I was so happy to know they were going to be brothers forever.
More change came, but then they realized that the change meant a forever family.
They continued to love to be as close as possible.
They are both so much healthier now.  Look at the fluff.
Resting under the tree is a wonderful, peaceful place.
Their sister is Olivia who was also one of our rescues. She wanted to be a Peke.
This is going to be their “First Christmas” and I’m so happy for them.  πŸŽ„❤️

HOLLY OF THE CHRISTMAS RESCUE

Holly (on right) was one of the Christmas rescue dogs.
Her new brother Cody is happy she’s there.
It took a while.
Holly tested the baby swing that was being given away w all the baby things.  She thought it was a little dangerous.
She likes being ground level in a bed.
She and Cody each have their own donut bed.
Holly loves being held. It’s the best!  I think it wonderful for her and her “grand mom.”
Snoozing w her buddy is fun.
Holly adores her walks.  It was all new at first but now she’s very sure of herself. She also loves her morning romps outside w her dad.
Holly was just over 10 pounds when she came into rescue. Now she’s a healthy 13 pounds!
Seeing how great each of the Christmas dogs is doing brings a smile to my face.  They are such sweet Pekes.  The rescue changed everything about their previous lives.  It’s very heartwarming. πŸ₯°

YOGI- -- NAUGHTY OR NICE

Yogi says he is ready for Christmas.  He has friends to play with, and I’m sure he will get new toys for Christmas. We were asked to take him into rescue when a shelter was overcrowded.
When yogi came into rescue, he was matted and uncomfortable. He was shaved down so there was no more hair pulling on his skin. That must have felt
His hair can be fluffy and soft or he can have shorter cuts. He’s fine either way.
Yogi LOVES playing w other dogs.  He likes going on walks, too. He would benefit from a fenced yard to run around w his friends.  He would love a playmate.
Look at that beautiful sleepy boy.
Are you looking for Santa?   It’s going to be exciting.  πŸŽ…
His foster mom said this about him. “Yogi is house-trained, LOVES all people. He barks when he sees you, until you make him sit for petting and attention. He can hardly stand waiting for attention. He needs to be a bit sedated for grooming, doesn't bite, but is uncomfortable around his hind quarters. Great dog for any household.”
We’ve had applicants for him, but we want the best fit for Yogi.

JACK -- READY FOR CHRISTMAS

JACK
Jack came in the first group of the Christmas rescue.  His body score was 2/9, so he was not in good shape.   A year later, he is totally different.
He will be having his first real Christmas this year.   Can you see the excitement in his face?  πŸ˜‰
Each dog came from the shelter with the name Snow and a number.   Jack was Snow 4.
He went to see Santa with his whole family.  Look how confident he is there.  Sitting right on Santa's lap!
He now is a healthy weight, and he is so relaxed that he sleeps on his back.
He is so fluffy now!  He and his best friend, Westley, love to pose for pictures.
Jack loves toys and he is very good at gathering them into a pile.  I wonder if any of the other Snow Pekes love toys, too.   I know Dickens does.
Are you ready for Christmas Jack?  I bet you are!   It's going to be a special one this year.  πŸŽ„πŸŽ„
