REN, JIN, AND MEI MEI-- SISTERS IN LIFE AND LOVE

Jin, Ren, and Mei Mei-- three sisters we were asked to help in 2019.

Their owner reached out to us because he knew his health was not good and he wanted to make sure his girls were safe.   They were fostered and then adopted by Beth and David.   Beth is on our board and does the newsletter.  (She loves story submissions!)
Ren's dad said she is, " a perfect blend of sweetness and impishness."

They are ages 10-12 now.  Oh, those faces.
They all went on a trip to the Florida Keys-- oh that was fun!!!
Ren is working out to get rid of her vacation weight.  LOL
Their mom loves dressing them for every occasions.
They are all so cute. ☘
Fireworks anyone? 🎆
Happy holidays! 🎄
They are beautiful girls.
I was so happy when they were all adopted together.  What a life they now have.  💕💕💕

ACE—SWEET BOY

In fall 2020, we were asked to help Ace.  His owners didn’t want him anymore.  He was w someone else. They asked us to help,
We were told he had all his shots and that he was healthy.  But, we received no vet records.  And that means we start from the beginning.
He was updated and had lab work and we found out he had a bladder infection.  He received all the care he needed and then his foster family decided he was already home.   Perfect!!
Bandit is one of his friends.   Silly boy.  He must think he’s a door stop.
Acre loves to spend the day napping and looking out the front door.   I’m sure he’s a wonderful guard dog.  He is a beautiful one, that’s for sure.  Have a happy Monday, sweet Ace!

TUK TUK — HAPPY OR SAD?

Tuk Tuk’s girl, my granddaughter, just finished her first year of college.
She was home for a few weeks but she left yesterday for her 8 week internship w a medical school program
Tuk Tuk went w his mom and dad to take her to the airport.
How could she be leaving again?
He laid down as he watched her leave.  He thought he should go, too.
Poor Tuk Tuk.   I hope today is better and he can have a happy Sunday.  He will sure miss his girl.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY

In June of 2018, we were asked to take in four Pekes.  Andy, above, was the youngest.
Koko, the dad, was almost 14 years old.   Andy was the most timid and he was 11.  Koko was adopted, but he would be 18 by now, so I'm not sure he's still alive.   Jodi the mom did not make it because of severe heart issues but each of her family -- Koko, Minnie, and Andy--were allowed to say good bye to her.
Minnie was almost 13 when she came into rescue.   She ended up being a permanent foster with me.  She had PTSD  and was on prozac.  But, she never trusted completely.   She found peace here until she left us in January, going on 17 years old.
Andy went to be with someone who had adopted before.
He also had stress issues, but he is a daddy's boy.
He has just turned 15 years old!   He is still a beautiful boy.
He has a special wagon to ride in.
He can still meander around with his dad close by.   We all say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY!!

LIL MAN—ready!

Lil Man has healed well from his eye surgery and he is doing great in his foster home.  He has some personality for sure.
His foster dad, Joe, said, “ For some reason he loves this one crate. Door was closed and he stood there until I opened it.” 🤣.   He wouldn’t come out, so Joe went upstairs.   Wrong move. Lil Man screamed until he came back. 🤣🤣.
He decided toys are nice.
He has some really LARGE toys.
Then he wanted some lap time.  “What’Cha up to?”
Snoozing now.
Lil Man has gone through at least three places we know of.  He needs stability.  He is available for adoption.  He doesn’t move if you put a leash on so he must have a fenced yard.  He deserves a loving hime. ❤️

A COVID SHOT DAY

I had my 4th covid booster and it wiped me out.  Just super tired. So I spent the entire day in bed.   Zoey was just fine w that.
Of course, I had to get up to take dogs outside.  In my jammies.
I had to feed all the dogs.
But, most of the day, five dogs and I were on the bed.   Shades down.  Fan on for white noise.
I actually needed a day of rest and this provided one.  Hope today is better. I think it will be  ðŸ˜ƒ
