The donations we receive help so much. Not just with fosters who are adoptable, but also with those who aren't. Zoey and Minnie (RIP) are two of those Pekes.
Clara was another. We were able to give her the care she needed as a brain tumor slowly took away her ability to live a full life. She was my little 8 pound girl and was incredibly sweet. But, she was safe and loved while with us.
Chi Chi came to us as a senior, and rescue decided to make her a permanent foster. She lived until she was 18. She didn't want to leave.
Butters and his foster sister....
Olivia were both dogs who lived less than a year after we got them, but they were wonderful months of care and giving them all they needed. Is it easy knowing you have a foster who will pass away in your care? It's not-- but it's also a great privilege to be entrusted to care for them. We hold them and love them until it's time to say good-bye.
Zoey is with me -- she has bone cancer, and will remain with me until she needs to leave this world. Our donations make this possible. She needs special eye care and routine check ups to evaluate how she is doing. She has no intention of leaving soon. She loves to be held, and eats so well, even with no jaw and no teeth. These special dogs can teach us about perseverance as we watch them each day. We have a matching donation being set up. It's $10,000 and every donation that comes in will be matched. We are surprised and astounded, honestly, when we have this kind of generosity. If you would like to make a donation, you can go to our web site to make a donation. Thank you for your support. It means so much. Zoey says thank you, too! 💜

This donation will be on going as we raise the money to help more Pekes. THANK YOU ❤️
