RUN FREE HENNI

I’m not really doing farewells anymore.  But almost three years ago, this little girl came to my house.  We named her Henrietta Hope.
The shelter said she was 8 years old, and said she had a broken leg.  She arrived and was incredibly sweet.  She went to the ophthalmologist and she said Henni was 14.  Big difference. That was fine.  She was safe.  Henni also had X-rays. Her leg wasn’t broken. She was born that way.  We decided she could stay in rescue.  After a few weeks w me, she went to Claretta’s to live the rest of her life.
She was so happy there.  She even went on a beach trip.
Her leg did give her problems as she got older, but she was a little champion.  In the last few weeks, her leg began to fail and she could no longer have the support she needed.  She was almost 17. A long life with the last three years of joy and love.
Henni was one of those Pekes who went deep into the hearts of those who loved her. Even though she was only with me a short time, she was extra special.  So I wanted to tell everyone how precious she was.  I’m so glad she was brought to our rescue.   (All the fosters are special but some just touch us in a deeper way.).
Run free now Henrietta Hope.  So many loved you. 💖
