Toby had his first day out of the vet office. He’s w me for a few days and then he will be w his foster mom.
He has to be walked w a sling until his back right leg gets stronger. He's having trouble walking which is normal since he had major surgery.
He’s all shaved down and is still on a lot of meds.
He rested on the couch w me. The meds were kicking in. He’s wearing a neck wrap so he can eat and drink. If I’m not watching him, he has to have the e-collar on. He’s trying to lick his surgery sites. Not a good idea. He has a long incision on the back left hip. He has plates and screw to fix his broken pelvis. Everything is swollen but he’s doing well. The worst is over and the future looks bright for him.
