Leila belonged to my friend, Charlie. I met Charlie when he adopted two Pekes, Bear and Precious, from Virginia (they were "crossposts" and I had the privilege of helping Charlie).
Leila was his beautiful girl and she welcomed the others he had. Charlie also had adopted Tigger a blind Peke and gave him a life that was incredible.
Leila loved the snow-- and just being wherever her daddy was.
Three years ago, Lulu joined their family. Charlie came to the picnic that year and she went home with him. It was the perfect match.
Lulu is now on her own and she has been in Leila's bed, wondering where she is. It's so hard for Charlie to watch her grieving and to be grieving so much himself.
Leila joined Precious, Tigger and Bear at the Rainbow Bridge. I know she loved seeing her friends, but her daddy and Lulu miss her so much. Run play now, sweet girl. You will see your daddy and Lulu again.

Oh that is so sad.... poor Lulu and poor Daddy.
You know I love a black peke and Ms Leila was a beauty. Leila will be so missed.
