FAREWELL LUCY

Lucy came into rescue in 2013.
She had been chained in the back yard for 5 years-- what is wrong with people.
We got her and she had been completely shaved down, which meant she had been in bad shape.   She looked so sad.
But, she was with rescue and ready to begin the rest of her life.
She had seizures the first day we got her and so she stayed with Jeanne and became one of her gang.   When Jeanne died last summer, Paige and Dani said they would give Lucy (and DiDi and Sassy) a forever home.
Lucy always had a "sad" face, but she was safe and loved.
Here she was with her sisters:  Lucy, Sassy (with the wide eyes) and DiDi.
Lucy was laid back and just enjoyed life as it came.   She was a quiet one, but knew she had a wonderful life.   She had been in the vet for care for health issues, but she stopped eating and could not rally.  She was gently released from this life and I'm sure she met Jeanne and her other siblings at the Rainbow Bridge.  Run free now, sweet girl. 💜   I know Paige and Dani loved you so much.
