UPDATE ON GYPSY-BOY

Gypsy-Boy came to us in March.  He was found wandering near the railroad tracks and was in terrible condition.
He needed a lot of help.    His eyes were in rough shape and one needed to be removed.  But, he had to get healthier first.   He was finally able to get it removed and that made a difference.
He rested a lot, and was the sweetest little boy.
He had a growth removed from his mouth, but it wasn't cancer.   We were grateful for that.
Gypsy has had coughing that continues to get worse.   He had to be treated for MRSA in his ear, which is extremely serious.   He is on heart medication and his heart murmur is up to a 5.   This means we can not do anything else that require anesthesia.    What we can do is keep him as comfortable as possible.  Comfort care for this sweet one.
His foster mom, Sherry, wrote, "He is quite the devoted Peke.   He doesn't let me out of his sight...follows me from room to room....we put up a baby gate at the front porch steps so that he (and the others) can go sit with us there. He became quite distraught when I was out there without him. We love this little guy!"    We hope Gypsy has  many months to continue enjoying his foster home.  He's a sweet boy.  💙

What a sweet little guy. It's so sad to read about these little ones left in danger and on their own. I try not to think about it came about.
