The beach area of Virginia has more than the areas north of us. Can you see the moon?
It became magical. There's something about snow, at night, to create a quiet you can't get at other times.
The next day, the dogs checked it out.Rocky and Gidget were the bravest, aside from Callie.
The day before, we just had a smattering of snow. She loved it!
But, then, there was MORE.
We're not the northeast or South Dakota or Canada-- but for us, this was a LOT.
It was so pretty.
Evening snow-- ❄❄
Snow was on everything-- and it was in the 20s, so it didn't melt right away.
It's hard to smell things through the snow, but Gidget is trying.
Pure, untouched snow. (This is outside the fence.)
Gidget was brave-- she forged right through the snow, to find her own spot.
Rocky found a spot where he could look out-- or not.
The porch screens were coated.
The roads weren't driven on for awhile. It was so pretty.
The bushes...
the trees bent over...
A single dog trying to make a path. (I do see another tail going down the steps.)
I sit and enjoy the beauty of it. My Star is still up-- it's winter and I love it.
