FAREWELL JACKSON

Jackson came into rescue in 2020.
He was taken to a vet to be put down because his owner couldn't afford his eye care.   So many extra medical costs can put an owner in a bad spot-- and they feel they have no options.   I get it.
The vet receptionist knew of our rescue and contacted me.    Jackson came into rescue.
He was able to see the opthalmologist and he had cataract surgery.  No new lens could be put in, but the dense cataract was removed.   He had some vision.  Not perfect, but better.
He was adopted and went to live with his new mom.   She adored him!
His life was full of joy and love.
He had everything he needed.   He began having health issues due to age, and it was time for him.  His mom let him go surrounded by love.
I'm so glad he had those extra years to live a cherished life.  Thank you Marti for fostering him and Martha for adopting him.   You changed his life.   Run free now sweet boy.  πŸ’™
