Melrose came into rescue in 2015. He came in with Maxine and Micky.
He was timid at first. He watched his foster mom, Barbara and seemed to
grin. He watched around him as if his foster parents were the greatest entertainment in the world. And he began to blossom. After being there for a few months, they decided to adopt him.
He seems ageless. His health is great and the years are good to him.
He just celebrated his 17th birthday!!! It shows what great care he's had. I know genetics play a role, but the care he lives with is instrumental in him doing so well.
