Peppermint came into rescue before Christmas. December rescues get a holiday name. Her owner was very sick and just wanted her to have a good home. We took her in and she’s had a lot of care and love. Her foster parents are awesome.
She’s become very very comfortable. She was stressed at first. But not now.
She has a jacket for the cold February days. Her hair was shaved but is now coming in beautifully. (Sometimes, we have to shave and just start over. Some dogs are too matted when we get them,)
Her mouth/teeth were in tough shape and she had her dental on Monday. She lost 7 teeth which wasn’t surprising. She’ll do great now!!
She will be on soft food for two weeks and then ready to go. She’s a precious girl. ❤️
