Peaches (formerly Lilo( was born in 2007. She came to us in 2011 when her family turned her into a shelter.
We found a wonderful home for her. It looks like she loved boxes, too.
She was such a good girl. She followed them everywhere.
She liked to stand up and hold her front paws together. (Maybe she also liked skateboards. 😊 )
Her mom wrote recently that she had passed away. "
We had to say goodbye to Peaches on May 26, 2024 (~16-17 years old) after a year of palliative care following a vestibular event and progressive vestibular symptoms (most likely due to a brain tumor)." I know Peaches was so comforted by the care and love she received. Snuggling feels so good to them.
Her mom wrote that she was so grateful to have been able to adopt her.
She said that Peaches was "confident and sweet, dignified and silly. We loved her more than I can describe and are thankful for every day that she was in our lives." "
She is resting between two Tulip Poplar trees and we plan to plant Peach Berry Ice Coral Bells near her next spring." Thank you for giving her such a beautiful life. Run free sweet girl. 💜
