Se took in 19 dogs in the Christmas rescue-
the largest intake we have ever done.
Here are some who have been adopted.
Bethany is a little beauty. Her foster parents adopted her. She is still working through some of what she went through but she has another PVPC alumni named Hannah. They have so much fun. Kris, now Eddie, w PVPC alumni Brock (of the West Virginia 6). Eddies foster mom adopted him. 🥰Tinsel and Nicholas, now Tulip and Percy, were w me. They were close and I was thrilled they were adopted together.
Belle and Oliver— they came in last. They went to a foster home that was very experienced w Pekingese. Belle and Oliver had only been in their home when they decided the two were home. As soon as their medical was done, they officially became part of the family. Now they are siblings of Leia, a PVPC alumni. Gabriel/Toby and Fizziwig/Ludo are now new home. They are now siblings w Olivia now Callie. We have several homes who come back to adopt again. ❤️
Kringle is also one of the adopted ones. He looks so much better than when he came to us. He’s gained weight, had all his medical done, and became an healthy boy. His foster mom adopted him. And they live near me so I can see them occasionally. Even better.
Jack was also adopted by his foster mom. He now has a Peke brother named Westley. His mom has taught him a lot of commands and he has learned so fast. He has a best friend for life.
Jingle became best friends w Hunter at my house. They were adopted together!! I knew they would both do fine since they had each other.

Jolly was adopted but he came back to us. We found that he could not be alone. He needs to have another adopted w him. He can be adopted w another one of the Christmas pups. I’m actually not surprised. These dogs were found ALL TOGETHER in a pile. They found safety in each other. At my home, six of them would pile onto each other. Literally. Five would be close and then Dickens would climb on top of all of them. They would sleep like that.
Little Winter was also returned. The couple had another dog, but she didn’t want to play. It wasn’t a fit for either one of them. Winter took a week to decompress. She’s playing w Yogi the Pomeranian foster we have. We would love for these two to be adopted together. If you’re interested in adopting any, just go to our web site for the application. We only adopt in Virginia and Maryland. We require home and vet checks.
