NOELLE—HOME!

NOELLE
Noelle was in the first group of the Christmas rescue.
She went to a foster home w Ren (black one) and Mei Mei.
Of  the 19, Noelle was the most emotionally traumatized.
Being w these two sweet girls made a huge difference. They were both very accepting of her.
About all of them had to see the ophthalmologist. Noelle was one of them. She had limited vision.  She is on drops for life now and her vision has improved some.
When Noelle came into rescue, she was 8 pounds.  She’s  a small Peke but she needed to gain.  Her malnutrition meant her digestive system had to heal before she could absorb nutrients.  Her foster parents were diligent about multiple meals. Now she is up to almost ten pounds!
She was extremely nervous but she feels safe w her foster parents. New people scare her.  She was making progress, even though it was slow.  Her snuggle mat is a favorite, looking for little pieces of good.
All of the foster parents to this group have stayed in touch, sharing how each dog was doing. We’ve seen many of the same trauma reactions.  It’s the most emotionally hard rescue we’ve ever done.
Noelle’s foster mom and dad decided they didn’t want her life to change again.  So they are adopting her!
Noelle-nicknamed Nono- is home.  I’m overjoyed for her. 💕
