Gwennie was amazingly good. She just let me do it all. No fussing. No fear of the blow dryer. Good girl.
All the moving has her finding strange places to rest. LolAt the new house, I’m trying to figure out where everything will fit. Wall space is different. I’d like to just pause and look at all the azaleas blooming.
I’ll miss them at our new house. We can’t have them there. Deer are all over and you can find them resting in your yard. They think azaleas are candy! I’ll have to find deer “unfriendly” flowers. 😂. Any suggestions?
Life is changing but it’s a new adventure. It will be great!

Deer are eating machines and when I was planting flowers, bulbs & shrubs, I chose hyacinth, lilacs and peonies; daffodils; astilbe, salvia, coneflowers & bee balm; and marigolds. I've also heard dahlias & begonias should be okay. I can't grow near as many "pretty ones" in this climate as you can down there (how I miss my azaleas this time of year!) and living in the woods, the deer are as common as squirrels are in suburbia. You'll get it figured out. (wink)
