GUS COMES TO THE PICNIC

 Gus came all the way from New York to come to the picnic.
 He saw his foster mom, Jeanne.   We foster moms LOVE to see our former fosters!  
 He saw the cake and thought it was perfect!  Pekes do rule!
 Do I smell bar-b-q?  Yum!
 His mom adopted him almost 2 years ago and she sure loves him!
 I love spending time at the picnic with our adopted dogs.
Last year, Gus was with Willie-Wonton for the photo shoot-- did you have pictures this year?
Gus, we're so happy you came and that you have such a wonderful mom!

Now .... is it Gus that rides the rails??? Or did he come by car??

Gus and his mom, Susan, caught a ride back to NY with. Gus likes to snooze in his soft crate on his mom's lap. He snoozed the entire way home! Tom drove and I sat in the back with Willy Wonton, SuzyQ and Bink -- it was pretty cramped with all our vacation stuff in the car, so the Pekes sat on top of me most of the time -- I'VE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!
