Ricky was in a Virginia shelter and he had little chance of getting out through adoption. So, we took him into rescue.
You won't find a sweeter Peke. But, he had limited hearing and sight.
He seems to melt into whatever place he's with-- he chooses to love whoever he is with.
So, I asked for help so that we could do cataract surgery on him. The donations at the picnic made a big difference! He had his cataract surgery two weeks ago. He can see so much better!!! YAHOO!
He went back to his foster home last week-end. (He was in a temporary one for his eye surgery.) Barbara kept him overnight for Lisa and Barbara said, "
....I thought everyone might have exaggerated a bit... but no... this is one of the sweetest dogs I can ever recall meeting... "
She said he is a precious ball of fluffiness. Whoever adopts him will be a very lucky person!
