We love adoption days. Our foster dogs are given premium care. We are very careful w our applications. Many of our dogs have had a rough time, so we want to make sure the rest of their lives are wonderful.
Adoption days are happy and sad- sad for the foster parents to say goodbye, but so happy for adopters who now have a new best friend- or two.
The West Virginia 6 had a long journey to rescue, but with a lot of help, they arrived.
Their foster homes were awesome.
They learned to be safe, to know they were lovable, to get medical care and become healthy.
They had all they needed to eat.
They loved to go on walks.
In the initial sighting of these dogs, Sable and Clementine were usually together.
They were good friends even then.
Having them adopted together is a double blessing. I smile whenever I think about it. They are only about 1, so they have a long life of joy and being together. It doesn't get better than that.
