Daily belonged to my friend, Emily.
She was a beautiful little girl.
Emily adopted Daisy from a shelter in Florida four years ago.
Daisy was a discarded back yard breeder dog.
She had health problems and eye issues, but Emily did everything possible for Daisy.
Daisy was not used to attention. She wasn't used to love.
But, in the four years of her life with Emily and her family, she found both.
Daisy was terrified of fire alarms. She had several medicines to help her but she never was fully comfortable. Years of neglect can take a toll.
Daisy did have soft beds, and blankets and care.
She had the great love of her family. Daisy began have more health issues and there was nothing more that could be done. So, with love, her mom let her go. It's the last kind thing we can do for our beloved friends.
Daisy received this loving gift.
