FAREWELL BELLA

BELLA
Bella and her brother Simon came into rescue in August of 2017.  They were an owner surrender.
They were the sweetest pair.   Bella had a very bad eye and it was removed.
She and her brother were adopted to a wonderful home in Richmond.  Jan has adopted quite a few PVPC dogs.   Bella was trying on a winter sweater here.  She was not impressed.
When they were at my house, I didn't see that Bella, all 9 pounds of her, could be a bossy girl.  LOL
But, when she went to her new home, she let her presence be known.   I think the first thing she did was to pee on the carpet.  It didn't bother her mom at all.
She loved her home, checking out her yard regardless of the season.
She and Simon loved it there.
Bella loved being held like a baby and she was easy to hold.  A tiny girl who adored anyone who adored her back.

Bella suddenly became very sick.  Her mom took her to the vet immediately.  She was taken to a specialist and the diagnosis was pancreatic cancer.   She had hours to live, so her mom held her as she released her to heaven.   It was a devastating decision, but there was no other that could be made.   I'm grateful that Bella had such an incredible home and mom for 7 years.   Run free now sweet girl.
