Gabriel was in the first group of the Christmas 2024Rescue.
Gabriel is underweight but eating well. Most of these dogs have to be fed 3 times a day.
We went to the ophthalmologist yesterday. His left eye is so small.
Gabriel is so sweet. I usually find him piled in w his fellow rescues.
Many of this group had untreated eye injuries. Some have limited vision but like Cinnamon, they have no trouble getting around.
Gabriel is incredibly sweet. He loves to be held and take naps on your lap.
The good news is he doesn’t need eye surgery. His small eye is most like the result of an injury but it wasn’t treated. His injury caused his eye to shrink down. Hs not uncomfortable. His other eye needs tacrolimus to help him produce tears. And both need a lubricating med. It’s such new news. We love these victories.
