Williamsburg (Va.) has an event every second Sunday of the month except for January and February. It's called Second Sunday. (Clever and easy to remember.) I like to go to the event and wander around w my daughter and granddaughter. It was warm today, but there's a freeze warning in two days. The weather can't make up it's mind. I love the autumn trees here. We don't get great changes of color like you do in the mountains, but I still love it.
We drove into my daughter's neighborhood and then...Dickens wandered around my daughter's yard. I only brought him with me.
Wood piles are ready for fires inside. Dickens was walking on a pile of yellow leaves. Awe, the look of Fall. Tuk Tuk was so happy when we arrived.
He and Dickens wandered around and then I took Dickens along with us to see how he would do in a crowd. He was in a stroller. He couldn't have walked that long. He seemed to enjoy being wheeled around. My daughter and granddaughter also get "fairy hair" with me. It is like Christmas icicles put in your hair. You can choose multiple colors or just one. I get silver which sparkles in my hair. It's just fun. It will stay for months. Dickens was so good while he watched us. Someone asked why I didn't put fairy hair in his coat which is long and thick now. That's an idea!
People smiled at they saw him and quite a few asked if they could pet him. He did really well. He is so sweet and there's not an aggressive bone in his body. He did keep looking toward me to make sure I was always there. Of course I was. When we got home, he was ready for a rest. After dinner, he was out for the night. It was a long day, but he did so well.
