HOW MANY YEARS?

Peanut is one of our board members dogs.  Claretta has fostered many of our PVPC dogs.   She also has had Dobermans.   She had both at the same time.  The Dobies thought they were Pekes and the pekes thought they were Donies. 😂

The PVPC board has a messaging group among ourselves.  We share a lot when we message. ( Fiona's Fresia is a happy girl.)  

In our messages, we wondered how many years of experience we collectively have w Pekingese.  With me, it’s over 60 years.  Wow.  That’s a lot. 

Barbara has Jellybean and Snickerdoodle from the Christmas ‘24 rescue.   She’s has Pekes a long time, too. 

Amee loves Pekingese and Shih Tzu alike. She’s had Pekes over 25 years. 

Fin belongs to Robin. Look at his sweet face.  He’s a sensitive boy who loves his mom and dad. She’s also a nurse so she can share a lot of medical information w us. 

Brock of the West Virginia 6 rescue belongs to Lisa.  All of us have dogs from PVPC that we fostered.  Some stayed w us for medical reasons and some stayed because we just decided they fit perfectly into our families. 

Noelle/Nono was in the Christmas rescue.  Beth and David just couldn’t let her go. She was so timid but has come out of her shell with them.  

So.. how long have we had Pekes?  Together we’ve had Pekingese for 415 years!!   That’s a lot of experience!!   That means we know a lot about Pekingese.   And we have a lot of love for them.
