MOI MOI AND COCO IN AUSTRALIA

Coco and MoiMoi had a wonderful Christmas in Australia. However....

It's really hot there! Melinda told me it was 104 yesterday. Oh, my!

So little Coco got her summer cut. It's just too hot to have a lot of hair.

She and Moi Moi are all set for hot weather. It's hard to imagine that hot over Christmas.

I think Coco agrees with me.

They have air-conditioning so it's okay. They just stayed inside at Christmas time. And they tried to stay cool.

They enjoyed the holidays with their little stuffed friend.

And their little people (grandkids) enjoyed it, too, by getting all dressed up. Don't worry, Coco and MoiMoi-- we'll send some of our cold weather your way. But, you may have to wait 4-5 months for it to arrive.

BUFFY AND OLLIE'S CHRISTMAS HOUSE

Ollie was one of my foster dogs. I picked him up in Nov. 2006 and fell in love right away. He danced in the shelter cage and was so happy I was there to get him.

His family also adopted Buffy-- she was keeping an eye on Beesey Bit and Drill Bit when we went to their house last week. Buffy is SO good with kids.

We went to their house so we could see all the CHRISTMAS that is there. I call it the Christmas House because every room (bathrooms included) have a Christmas tree. Each has its own theme.

Buffy and Ollie's mom's name is Joy, so we could see a lot of "Joy" ornaments on her trees. And we took one for her to add.

These are Christmas balls that Joy made herself. They are exquisite! She has so many Christmas ball on display in bowls or large vase/towers. I saw a lot of things I could do next year!

The living room has a very large Santa in it. It's painted on a large board, and there is a replica on the front porch that Joy did. It's such a fun house to see!

The trees were all amazing. I could have sat in each room for hours just looking at the trees. But, I had four "Bits" with me, so I was watching them! I had Lil Bit, Bitty Bit, Drill Bit and Beesey Bit. Beach Bit didn't get to come.

There were snow globes and ornaments hanging on things. The Bits were enthralled.

There were other Joy displays-- this one on a picture board. And Joy describes my friends. She and her husband just make you feel so wonderful when you visit! Thank you to them both for allowing us to come.

There are ornaments of good size hanging on the stairway bannister.

There's another stunning bowl of ornaments.

Even the rugs are beautiful.

This tree was in a bathroom-- my grandbits were going from room to room in awe.

Another beautiful tree. The different color themes were wonderful and just made me smile. This is a happy house to stroll through!

Ollie and Buffy have their pictures in pillow frames.

And here's another bowl of handmade ornaments. Joy is very talented!

She just took up painting and did this picture of Ollie. He was on a boat and of course, he had on his life jacket.

The craft room has a palm Christmas tree. The Bits loved it and pointed out the little umbrellas that decorated the window board.

I think this one was in the family room in the basement. There was also a large sleigh there full of stuffed animals!

The Bits pulled out all the animals and got in, one at a time. They loved it!

Buffy went upstairs to the family room and looked at us over the couch.

It was hard having all those kids there-- I know how you feel, Buffy! I wish I could just roll over and take a nap, too.

Ollie took it in stride though.

They are very sweet Pekes.

When it's warmer, they love to pose outside for pictures.

Or hang out inside and wait for a treat.

They also let their own grandkids put them in plastic bins and push them around the house. They are very good sports.

Buffy will ride around in a car, too.

They are just all around great Pekes. They know they are loved.

And we are so happy they let us come to their house to see all the Christmas decorations!

I'm so glad we could visit and spend time with you. Thank you from all of us and the Bits for sharing your Christmas house with us!

AMELIA, LILY, TEDDY, WILEY AND COSME

I love these pictures. I still don't know how you get this many dogs to sit together. I have one that will create mad chaos if I try it. (Cranberry, also known as Cranky-berry can be rather testy.)

Hey, guys, you can look up, but Santa is back at the North Pole. I'm sure he's resting since he just had that huge around the world trip. Don't worry, he'll be back at the end of the year. Wiley is the only one looking at the camera.

Lily gave up looking and laid down. Cosme and Teddy at looking at each other and trying to figure out why. Amelia and Wiley are just looking elsewhere. I love this picture!

And here's one that's perfect! Look at Amelia's head tilt-- adorable! I love Christmas pictures-- can you tell! ;-) You are all precious!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM CHLOE

Chloe (formerly Coco) is resting after a wonderful Christmas and New Year. She received a Mr. Banana toy for Christmas and loves chasing it. She had green bows in her hair for Christmas, but they didn't stay in. Her mom says she hopes she lives to be 150! She is loved so much!

Amelia and Paddy are hanging out with their mom. They want to wish all of us a Happy New Year! (Their mom says, "Lap hog Amelia thinks Paddy should share more. Poor old Paddy.")

HAPPY NEW YEAR/TONI'S DOGS

I want to wish you all a Happy New Year-- I pray this will be a wonderful year, full of joy and blessings for each of you. I told you I received a lot of Christmas pics, so I'm going to continue using those until I use all I have. They are too cute not to use! Abigail above, one of Toni's dogs was checking out Christmas presents.

Mitzi was a senior dog she took in when we had a request to take in a Peke mix whose owner died. Toni and I could NOT see the Peke anywhere in this dog. And she is not a small dog! But, she needed help, and Toni has a huge heart for animals, so she took her in.

Marco Polo was another "Peke" we took in years ago. He was in terrible shape in a shelter and one of our reps couldn't leave him there. He was adopted but came back into rescue and has lived his life at Toni's, being loved like he never was before.

This is Crazy Cooper. Toni was in a pet store and one of the workers asked if she'd like a miniature Schnauzer that had some health problems. She had no idea why they picked her out, but she took him. He isn't miniature and he didn't really have health problems. But, he loves to play and he loves her great-granddaughter.

Then there is Abigail and Daisy. Abigail came to rescue via Toni's and that was the end of that. :-) She never hit "rescue" because Toni saw her first and decided this tiny little girl was there to stay. When Daisy needed help, Toni said she would foster her. Another foster failure. :-) Aren't they cute together!!

Daisy posed on her own also-- she wanted to guard the tree in case there were presents for her. I'm sure there were!

Abigail joined her and Daisy shares a secret.
