TUCKER IS HOME!

 Tucker was so excited-- he was going to meet his new family!

 They drove to his foster home (a long drive) to meet and adopt him.

 They were so excited to get  him.    And they wanted to announce he's part of their family now.

 They live in my area and I met them when I did the home check.  I liked them right away.   (Wanda was saying good-bye to Tucker.   She will miss him.)

 Look at that smile!   He's so beautiful.

 He's home now-- and he has a big grin on his face.

 He was tuckered out from the long drive home.  (Whoops, that ended up being a pun-- not intended!)

I'm so glad you have your own forever home now, Tucker.   Thank you to Roger and Lucinda for fostering these sweet boy!

MORE HALLOWEEN DOGGIES

I received more pictures (or found some on facebook) of more Halloween doggies.    Mollie was NOT thrilled to be dressed up!

Pudgie, Chompers and Schmoo were so cute-- Hey Schmoo!!   You sure have a great family!

My former foster, Abner-- just look at him.    He is such a great dog-- he is a therapy dog at the airport, he is a therapy dog at a nursing home, and now he is a Halloween greeter!   So many jobs!

Milo is ready to be formal!

Luca, Milo's brother, was a bat-- a cute one!

Mika was a hot dog-- she was NOT thrilled. LOL (She is the only girl in the family with Milo, Luca and Sir Jenkins, below.)

Sir Jenkins was adorable!    He's such a  good boy!

Maddy is sitting in the middle of a ghost and pumpkins.  He's a happy boy!

Maggie was one of my fosters.   I have her brother, Max, who became my boy.   Isn't she adorable!

And last, Thursty!   His name is Thurston, but he's known as Thursty, a nick name that I just love!  He was a court jester this year.   He's adorable!!   Thank you for sharing your Halloween pictures!!

CHANGE FOR CHANGE

 The month of October was one for saving your change to give to the Pekes' medical care.   Starlight and Koko started out with a little milk bottle to show their support.   More was put into the bottle until we went to a bigger one.  We'll be sending in our donation!

 Kody decided to use her fancy purse to collect change.

 So did her sister, Darcy!  

 They saved $16.00!!  WOOHOO!

Maggie, Pop and Domino saved a lot!   Wow.    They even rolled it to take to the bank.    They must have been collecting change for awhile.   Thank you all for helping us!   If you collected your change, just send it on. :-)

BANDIT-- WELCOME!

 Bandit came to us from a shelter after his owner turned him in.    He was in horrific shape, with little hair, itchy skin, and small-- ten pounds.

 We could not resist his face.   We do receive quite a few requests to help, and we cannot help them all, but we try.   We had a space for Bandit with  Jeanne.

 You can look at his face and see he is in discomfort, but he is already improving.

 Carter, who is usually a little unhappy about a new dog coming, was watching over Bandit-- look how small he is!

 I know you want to go in here, but it's the shed.    Come on back to the house.  (It's a colorful shed!!)

 He uses the playpen for his meals-- I think he is done!

 And he wants out!

 Time to cuddle up in a blanket.   I think he's going to need a sweater for the cold days ahead.

FAREWELL PABLO

 Pablo came to us as Chubs-- he was part of a group from a back yard breeder.

 We called them the Bristol 18 because there were 18 dogs in serious condition that we took into rescue.    (Two of them were five week old puppies.)

 Pablo joined Shadow, who had been one of my foster dogs.  

 He and Shadow were best friends.  

 Pablo's tongue never fit in his mouth because of missing teeth.    But, what a sweet, happy boy he was.    Even though he had been so neglected for the first seven years of his life, he was a joyful to have been rescued and in a family.    He was loved so much.

He was only 11 years old-- but kidney failure took him too soon.    I am heartbroken that he is gone-- and his family is devastated by the loss of this wonderful boy.   Run free now sweet boy, with your best buddy, Shadow, who has been waiting for you.    Some of your Bristol 18 friends are there, too.   We love you.     Rest in peace, Pablo.

TUCKER ADOPTED

Tucker came into rescue in July.    His family said they had too many dogs and they got rid of him.

We could not resist his face and those eyes.     I did a home check last week in my area and they were great.   They went to meet Tucker, and it was love on both sides.

Later on, they saw this poster-- it was a sign!!   Tucker was going to have a forever family.

I love this-- it was from a while back, but it shows how sweet he is.

Get ready Tucker-- you are going to have a new family.  I know Roger and Lucinda will miss you-- but for you, a new life is about to begin!   We are so happy for you!

DESI'S FAMILY AT HALLOWEEN

 Madge is an older Peke who is with Desi's family.   She is dressed like a lady though-- and what a hat!   I love it!   Wish women still wore hats.

 Rammi put on his sporty glasses!    I think it gives him a very intelligent look!  

 I think he disagrees with me-- or he's shutting his eyes to the skull beside him.

 I don't know how Roger and Lucinda get so many cute pics!     Or find the time to do it. haha  I love this one of Rammi.

 Cassidy didn't like this picture.   He said it makes him look fat.   Orange, yes-- fat, no.  haha  AND Cute!

 Dawson and Dollar are dressed in their Halloween ties-- so adorable!

 Wanda is Roger's special girl.    I love your outfit, sweet girl.

And the hat!   I almost looks like there is a spider on top.    You are very fancy!!
