We received an email on Saturday asking for helping for Mojo.
He had hurt his back and the owner needed to turn him in. (I know this pose "sitting pretty" is so cute, but it's really detrimental to a Peke's back, so don't encourage it.) Lisa, who I can always count on, rushed to get him. The 2 1/2 hour drive home was over 6 hours because of traffic, but this little man was safe now. He was immediately put on pain meds and we will do all we can for him.
He is hurting, but has made a little improvement. He is only 7 years old and a sweet boy.
Back pain can get worse before it gets better. We are doing all we can for him. We are not taking applications for him at this point. He needs to rest and heal. You're safe now, Mojo!

I have never had a Peke that does "Sit Pretty" .... until Yum Yum !!
I am going to stop that right now!
I do hope Mojo is feeling better and that back begins to heal .
What a cute guy he is Linda :)
Please let us know if donations are needed for his treatment
Thank goodness, he is safe and hopefully not suffering so much pain. I have so much empathy for anything with back problems because it's nearly impossible to remain pain-free.
Meanwhile, I'll follow Mojo's journey through rescue and restoral thanks to a rescuer and the great volunteers who stand at the ready to save the little ones even if it meant a six hour trip one way.
Thank you for driving 4 hours round trip to save this little Peke "Mojo". He is precious and you are an extraordinary human being.
