FAREWELL FURBY

 Furby came into rescue with his son, Rocky, and BG (Baby Girl). 

 BG went to NC for fostering due to medical issues.  But, Furby and Rocky were separate for short time (Furby's medical issues) and then they were back together.

 He had no tail-- we don't know why.  He had a distinguished face, with an adorable underbite.

 So many Pekes have one eye-- no nose out in front for protection!  (plus bulging eyes)

 Rocky and Furby adored each other. 

 They were adopted together, but then they came back.  It wasn't a good fit and we want our fosters to come back to us if that happens.

 Rocky was so glad.

 Furby was a sweet one, but he was diagnosed with cancer on his leg. 

 He had so many wonderful times in his foster home.  Other Pekes to play with, love from his foster mom and dad and plenty of soft places to sleep.

 And of course, his son, Rocky.

 They were so attached to each other.  After a time where the cancer didn't progress, it suddenly did and he was in pain.  We couldn't fix him. 

 His son, Rocky, will miss him so much, but he was adopted by his foster family, so he never has to leave them.  I'm so very glad for that.   Jackie and Bill have given such loving care to many and the dogs are adored there.  Rocky will continue to be loved as he has been for over 2 1/2 years.

There have been too many farewells lately-- but each one is special and loved and will be missed.  Furby, you were a wonderful boy.  You can run now, without pain, and find those that went on before you.   You will be missed.  💙
