Madeline Grace came into rescue in August of 2015. She was under 2 years old and beautiful.
Here she was as a puppy-- so adorable!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, her owners asked us to help her. They are wonderful people, but life sometimes throws challenges at us and we were glad to help.
Madeline came to my house and she was a spitfire. Tiny at under 10 pounds, she could fly. I realized she wasn't a Peke-- she was a Lemon Chin, a very sought after dog. I had SO many applications for her.
One was from the couple who adopted Mickey. Mickey had come into rescue 2015 also (with Melrose and Maxine) and he was happy to have a new friend.
They are great buddies.
Madeline is definitely the more outgoing of the two.
They have kitty friends, too. This is KC.
They are so beautiful. Mickey has that "sad" look that some just have. It makes him more adorable.
They have a bird friend, Abby-- she is 21 years old!!
Madeline is usually full of herself. Can you see the look on her face?
She still loves the tiny tennis balls that she played with at my house.
Madeline is 7 now and Mickey is 8. They are a beautiful pair. I love repeat adopters!!
