Pixie Dust came into rescue in 2012 and was a beautiful little girl.
She was adopted near me in Virginia.
She had a Pug brother, named Gordo, and Benny, who was also adopted from us.
Pixie was dearly loved by her family.
She loved Christmas and settled in under the tree to wait for Santa.
She loved snuggling with her brother, Benny, who is now 13.
All of them were doted on and loved.
They had a human sister, too-- but she grew up. :-)
Pixie began to slow down, but overall, she had great days. Like most Pekes, she slept a lot.
She enjoyed being outside, too.
Pixie Dust died in her sleep this week. She was only 11, so this was totally unexpected. Her family is devastated. We think we will know when it's time, but some of them leave us on their own.
Run sweet, sweet Pixie. You will be so missed. 💜
