The loss of Penny last week (see her story from Saturday) brought back so many memories of the Bristol 18 rescue 16 years ago.   

Colby was a tiny puppy from that rescue. He’s now 16 years old.   

He barks for treats and loves bedtime when it’s time for bed. 

His mom and I have been friends a long time and I love knowing how her PVPC dogs have done.  I can’t remember how many she has adopted from us.  It seems all have been part of our family. ❤️

Colby sleeps more, he’s a little slower but he’s still full of love for his mom.   Colby, tell your mom to give you a kiss from me. 🥰
