Happy Anniversary to my husband as we celebrate 37 years!! (This was taken about 5 years ago.)
Yes, that's us the night before we got married. Two little girls (I was a widow) and we were ready to begin on a new adventure.
Five grandchildren later....
Matt has been such a good sport about all the dogs who have come through here in almost 20 years of rescue. We have had the joy of loving so many-- everyone remembers Starlight.
Piper was a wanna-be Peke.
Some were loved and said good-bye to, like Lexie.
And Clara,
Some of our own from when we started are gone, too. But, the love remains and wonderful memories stay with us.
We have learned so much from these sweet dogs. It's been an honor. (Starlight and Kai Kai)
We don't have dark hair now-- we have more wrinkles and "age" effects. LOL But, we continue to celebrate our life together. Happy Anniversary, Matt!! 💘
