AUGGIE ADOPTED

August “Auggie” came to us from a shelter near me in Virginia   

He was a mess with missing hair and kennel cough.   I arrived and thought “that’s a Japanese Chin, not a Peke.”   That was okay.  He was a Peke for a minute.  

He was so sweet and he did well with the rest.  We had his medical done and one of my friends and a previous adopter wanted to meet him.  (I met her through rescue—so many good people are in rescue,) 

Auggue showed a little “baby alpha” there but he is learning the rules. 

They fell in love with him— but most important, their alpha dog Hannah said he could stay.  Hannah is the boss. 

Auggie (who now has his cone off) loves loves loves the window seat and Hannah “shares” it with Auggie.  Thank you Hannah!   Happy adoption Auggie!
