Sushi, formerly Francey, came into rescue less than a year ago.
She was so upset at the shelter. She looked at me as if to say, "are you going to help me?"
She was only 5 years old, and had, we thought, many years in front of her.
She found a family and they loved her.
She was finally having the life she always deserved. She brought them so much joy.
For reasons we don't know, Sushi became very sick. She went to the vet multiple times, but over the week-end, she suddenly went into crisis. She left this world with her mom beside her. It was a shock to her mom and dad and to all of us who were part of her journey.
Run free, now, sweet girl. I'm so sorry you weren't here longer. 💗
