MY BIRTHDAY--CELEBRATE

BIRTHDAY!

My birthday was Saturday, so the family got together at my daughter's.  

The dogs did not get to come.  Poor things.  

Are you looking for me Diamond?

My daughter had an "Autumn Dinner" and we celebrated my birthday.  

It was a Tolkien based theme.  

There was so much food.   And it was delicious.  

There was a ham, a pie, a cake...

Fall vegetables..  a charcuterie platter...

I used to read A Day in Fairland to my grandchildren.  It was their favorite book.  

So they got me a glass pottery vase with glass flowers-- a Fairyland Bouquet.  I just love it.  

And they found maple syrup named Runamok.  

So funny since we call our house Camp Runamuck.  

They gave me a Tolkien saying on slate.  I've never seen anything like this.  It's awesome!

Did I receive other things-- yes!   Love, Family, health,  I need nothing because I have it all.  (So, we are making a donation to Samaritan's Purse to help those affected by Hurricane Helene.   They need help to take care of so many people.)  

There were beautiful decorations.  We had so much fun.  

My dogs acted like I had been gone forever.  I know, I know.  I was gone HOURS.   It was terrible.   It wasn't really that long and I'm sure Diamond and her friends will forgive me.  It was a great birthday! 🎂🎂
