Ruby Sue was in a NC shelter. She was named after the road she was on. She was found near a retention pond. It makes me wonder how she survived, or didn't fall in the pond.
Her foster mom asked if she could rename her River. So that's her name. :-)
River is in rough shape. Skin issues, no hair on her tail. We think she is blind, and she will see the ophthalmologist. She will spin around when she needs to go outside. It's very cute. River is very sweet, so maybe someone loved her once. She will begin her vetting, see the ophthalmologist, and continue from there. She is safe now.
Now she can rest and be held and loved. Her foster mom already adores her. Welcome to rescue River. 💜

Poor little River...... she is the sort of dog I would love to adopt and make her life so much happier. Its so rewarding when you do.
I am doing my Adoption Dance for River right now .... yes Linda I know she has to be seen by the Vet but I pray just the right person falls in love with her and takes her home.
