Must Love Pekes is a blog for those who love Pekingese, their looks, their antics, their personalities. It is written by me, Linda, and I have been rescuing Pekingese for over 15 years. Lots of them have gone through our home. We have loved them all.

WU--READY FOR SPRING
Wu came into rescue in June of 2012. Almost seven years ago!
He adores his mom-- he even made her a big pink heart to show her.
Well, maybe she helped him. Like Paddington, Wu had nasal fold reduction surgery. It really helps their eyes when there isn't constant irritation from the fold under the eyes and the hair poking the eye. Some Pekes need this, but your vet can tell you if you need to do it for your Peke.
Wu had his tenth birthday in December-- a Christmas Peke!
He had several birthday cakes-- I think this was his favorite.
He loves taking naps and sitting in the sun.
He goes to the beach with his mom-- he even has a visor to protect his eyes from the sun.
Wu has been to several of our picnics, and I hope to see him this year, too. It's really close to his home, so maybe he can come! Our picnic is in the Richmond area and we have a lot of rsvp notices already! It's not too early to put yours in. We are having barbeque, and a silent auction and lots of fun! Come if you can!
