Shadow was in a shelter as a puppy in 2008. He was such a baby.
My friend, Tracy, lived near the shelter and went right over.
...and Shadow joined the family.
He didn't take long to fit right in.
He loved his life-- and the adventures he could have.
He had doggy friends, like Colby and Pollyanna, Macy... so many.
He loved cats, too.
He was such a good boy. He had some grandkids to love too. And they adored him.
He was a healthy boy until the last several months.
He wasn't feeling well, but tests showed nothing.
He was 13 1/2 years old and sadly, sometimes, they just get older. We wish we could fix old.
Shadow left this world the same way he lived it-- with so much love.
He will be greatly missed.
His beautiful face may not be here, but his spirit will always be part of his home.
Run free now, sweet Shadow. 💙

Shadow will be so missed as he fit right in to his forever family just fine as you can see in the many photos.
