Chi Chi came into rescue as a senior 15 year old Pekingese.
She was in a Maryland shelter.
She was a thin 10.5 girl and she had pyometra. This is extremely serious and an emergency spay was done. Without it, she would have died.
She went to live w Robin and later, Finley joined the family. He keeps an eye on Chi Chi to make sure she is okay.
Her family celebrated her 19TH birthday yesterday. Yes! 19 years old. She was born September 20, 2002.
She can’t see because of scarring in her eyes before we got her. As she aged, her minimal sight is gone. But, she still hears and eats snd ambles around.
