I want to thank all of you for praying for Beach Bit, my almost 5 month old grandson, who decided to do acrobatics out of his car seat on Monday morning. He was immediately seen by his Pediatrician and she thought everything was fine. But, as the day went on, he wasn't fine. We called her back and were told to take him to the children's hospital near us.
We did and it turned out he had a severe skull fracture. He was admitted to ICU and had an IV put in his tiny hand. We were devastated.
My daughter and her husband didn't leave his side and I was there most of the day each day.
His dog Leo missed him so much. He didn't know where his boy was.
Trenton was not happy to be there either (this is a older picture, not from the hospital-- I've never known a child who could perfect the pout like he does!).
We wanted our happy boy back!
He wanted to come home and have his bath time again-- and he LOVES his bathtime!
Beach Bit wanted to see Pandy again. She is his Peke mix.
She wanted him to come home-- it was sad without him.
Starlight wanted him to come back, too. She missed sharing the bouncey seat with him. Well, Beach Bit is home. He will be fine. We just have to be careful while his head heals. And we will just hold him a lot. (So, if you have Peke questions, just email
