Popsicle came into rescue last November. When we got him, we realized he had some medical issues that could mean he wasn't going to have long to be with us.
He needed a place to just "be" and Valerie and her husband stepped up to the plate. They loved him, took care of him, and he was so happy with them.
In the last few weeks, he had some problems, but seemed to be doing fine. He died on his own--he chose the time. (I know when we have to make the decision, it is so difficult.) We are so thankful to Valerie for all she did-- Popsicle knew he was loved and he had that with him as he passed on. Rest in peace, sweet Popsicle.

So sorry to hear that Popsicle went to the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you Valerie and your husband for loving this fur baby and taking care of him until the end. I'm glad that he was a happy boy with you, even though it was for a short time. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
