FAREWELL MR. WADDLES

Mr. Waddles came into rescue in 2016, and was a senior.
He was almost blind, he had little hearing, and had kidney issues.
He loved waddling around Monica's yard.   And she loved him so much.
He was not able to do much, but he enjoyed being in his bed (or one of the other dogs' beds) and he would snuggle up.
He sometimes picked the biggest bed to rest in.
Last night, Mr. Waddles had a stroke and lost all ability to stand.   He was ready to go.   His foster mom was with him as he left, to go and join so many who have left us before.  Thank you, Monica, for loving him so much.
Run free now, sweet boy.

I am so sad to read this.

I cried for Mr. Waddles just as I have for each wonderful Peke who crosses the Rainbow Bridge but always thankful that these are the fortunate ones who were rescued and had a period of happiness and a good life they so deserved from the moment they were born.
