Thank you to our vets and vet techs and all the staff who care for our animals.
We all take our dogs to the vets. And we often think that we should be FIRST. After all, our dog is so important to us. I have to remind myself that everyone thinks the same. But, we all need to be patient.

This link shows how stressful this year has been for our vets and vet techs, specifically. Did you know that many vet techs quit after 5 years? It's SO stressful.
During the pandemic, more people got pets and most (good owners) took them to the vet. So, in a time where some vet professionals had to carry on with more responsibility, many had even more stress put on them. And the worse part was that people were sometimes SO unreasonable. I had some of our vet techs tell me stories of clients screaming at them because they waited so long-- I can't imagine. Yelling because their dog wasn't first, or the visit was long, or.......
My vet has been extraordinary. They support all of their staff and I'm sure your vet does, too.
I've seen many of the vets there. They are there because they love the animals. So, we need to make sure they know that we love them, too. And that they know we care. How can you show them you care? Send or drop off a card. Drop off a snack. (Bagels, healthy veggie trays... Sometimes, theya re too busy to even eat.) There are special days for vets and vet techs, but they need encouragement EVERY day!
Tuk Tuk, with Dr. Seymour, loves the staff at our vet. They love him right back. This has been a hard year for all of us. Let's know our vets and techs and clinics how grateful we are for them. Share something YOU can do to show them that you are thankful for all they do.

They sure do a mighty job.
I recommend sending or delivering a nice vase of flowers to show appreciation for all that our vets and the staff do for our Furs.
